I Don't Want You Back is the debut album by American R&B singer Eamon, released in the United States on February 17, 2004. Produced by Milk Dee and Roy "Royalty" Hamilton, the album spawned two singles which combined modern hip hop with classic doo wop: "Fuck It (I Don't Want You Back)" and "I Love Them Ho's (Ho-Wop)". The album garnered a mixed reception from critics who found the production too predictable, and the repeated profanity wearing

Track 2 contains a sample from "I Only Have Eyes For You", performed by The Flamingos. Track 8 contains a sample from "Top Billin'", performed by Audio Two. Track 14 contains a sample from "I'd Rather Be With You", performed by Bootsy Collins. The CD-ROM part contains presentation software with a music video in Quicktime (MP4) format (dim. 360x240).

I Don’t Want U Back is the third track released from BØRNS' sophomore album, Blue Madonna. The track was first played during his Fall 2017 tour and the studio version’s release was announced via Twitter a day before its release. The song contains imagery from the past, referring to Sparkomatic and the disco, both of which were popular from the 60s and 70s. "I Don’t Want U Back" Track Info. Written By Tommy English & BØRNS. Eamon essentially came out of nowhere in late 2003, when the Staten Island singer's "Fuck It (I Don't Want You Back)" caught fire on national radio. Initially, novelty figured into the song's success - with its numerous expletives removed, the track sounded like Scarface on TV. But there was also a visceral directness in "Fuck It" that listeners responded to. Its spare, quietly surging arrangement was slow-jam pretty, as was Eamon's bold, doo wop-inspired delivery.

It has yielded a number-one single in Fuck It (I Don't Want You Back), but its success has more to do with the novelty of an angelic crooner swearing like a docker than intrinsic musical worth. Unfortunately for the prospects of his debut album, the "fancy that" factor wears off pretty quickly - well before the closing Ass is Fat (an appreciation of the larger booty). Eamon's hit-the-sky vocals are often stunning, as you'd expect of someone who sang with his father's doo-wop group at age nine, but there's only so far he can take his nasty/nice gimmick

I don't remember exactly when, and I don't remember who, but someone one told me that you can miss somebody and not want them back. It was a few months after my ex-boyfriend and I broke up, and I was sobbing hysterically. Even though I was the person that decided to end our three-year relationship, I still felt so incredibly sad about it. I was stalking his social media, and I know what you're thinking, that's mistake number one. But I was casually scrolling through, and that's when it happened.
